The Urgency of Christ (Pt. 2)

Another question that I asked earlier in the blog was How does Jesus fit into my life? The worst thing that we do in life is our failure to recognize Christ’s presence in our daily lives. Lamentations 3:23, emphasizes that there is a renewal of God's mercies and compassion each day. Despite my difficult circumstances, I have hope and the assurance that God's compassion is always available, reminding me that there is no expiration on His mercy. God extends His grace through His son Jesus Christ. Call on Him every day, all day and He will answer. Talk to Him just as you would a friend, but He is so much more. James 4:2-3 in the Bible, emphasizes that we may not receive blessings or provisions from God simply because we fail to ask for them. In Matthew 7: 7 it states, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you”.  Scripture emphasizes the importance of asking with the right intentions (ask yourself is this for self only, be intentional on blessing others with what you are asking), the verse also states that asking with wrong motives can hinder our receipt of God’s gift. God is not a magical Genie or if we rub the bible, we get what we want. Ask yourself, are you in line with the will of God? How would you know if you are in the will of God, read your bible, scriptures reveal the will of God. 2 Timothy 3: 16-17 tells us “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work”. You cannot live for Christ and Satan too. Make up your mind NOW. Please leave a comment with your thoughts.
